Paying tribute to fallen warriors on Memorial Day weekend

The American Legion Auxiliary will be honoring fallen warriors on Sunday, May 29 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Eisenhower Park, Veteran’s Plaza, Field 6

The American Legion Auxiliary is one of the nation’s most prominent supporters of veterans, the military, and their families. The auxiliary helps to advance the mission of The American Legion.

From helping to draft the GI Bill in 1944 to advocating for veterans on Capitol Hill, the non-partisan American Legion Family is instrumental in advancing legislation that improves the quality of life for our nation’s veterans and service members.

On the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, May 29, the American Legion Auxiliary members will join with the American Legion, the Sons of the American Legion, and the American Legion Riders to honor the men and women who fought for our freedoms.

All are most welcome to join us at this UVO Memorial Day Ceremony,  at Eisenhower Park, Veteran’s Plaza, Field 6 at 10:00 am for the ceremony. Anyone who is interested in becoming a member of our volunteer organization, ask any one of us how you may qualify. Hope to see you there! Thank you.
