Nelson DeMille to appear at JCC

Sid Jacobson JCC will host New York Times best-selling author and Long Island resident, Nelson DeMille on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss his new book “The Cuban Affair.”

In “The Cuban Affair,” DeMille introduces a new character, Daniel “Mac” MacCormick. Mac, a U.S. Army combat veteran, now works as a charter boat captain and is about to set sail on his most dangerous mission yet, Key West to Cuba.

DeMille has written 20 novels and his first, “By the Rivers of Babylon,” was published in 1978. He graduated from Elmont Memorial High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Hofstra University.
