The vibrance and excitement of Latin music and dance take center stage with Mi Gente Live’s July 24 performance, followed by Parrot Beach’s tribute on July 31 to the fun beach party music of Jimmy Buffett (tossing of beach balls will be encouraged!).
Great dance music by stars of the 1990s, including The Spice Girls, the Backstreet Boys, Shania Twain, Nelly and others, will be performed by the singers and dancers of Fool House on Aug. 7.
In the Mix and Gentlemen of Soul join on Aug. 14 for an eclectic program ranging from jazz and Motown to R&B, gospel, soul and Top 40 hits. The season winds up with a fabulous celebration of the music of Long Island’s Piano Man, Billy Joel. This August 28 show is performed by Big Shot fronted by the incomparable Mike DelGuidice with a cast of vocalists and musicians who have regularly appeared with Billy Joel on his tours and at Madison Square Garden.
All concerts are held at Morgan Memorial Park in Glen Cove, overlooking the harbor at Germaine Street between Landing Road and McLoughlin Street.
