Israeli art exhibition and sale at Temple Judea of Manhasset

 

An exhibition and sale of Israeli art will be held in the newly-renovated ballroom at Temple Judea from Thursday, March 15 through Sunday, March 18.

The exhibit and sale has been arranged by Safrai Fine Art Gallery of Jerusalem.

Admission is free for visitors and will give all an opportunity to support Israeli artists and Israel by visiting the show and purchasing a unique work of art on this 70th anniversary of the State of Israel.

The event will include a Klezmer concert on Thursday, March 15 at 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.,as well as a Kosher Wine Tasting and Sale on Saturday evening, March 17.

An unusual and highly anticipated event will take place on Sunday, March 18 at 10:30 a.m. when an Israeli breakfast will be prepared and served by Rabbi Todd Chizner who will present his culinary expertise.

An RSVP is required for the breakfast which has a charge of $10.00 per person.

A film, “In Search of Israeli Cuisine” will be shown on Sunday, March 18 at 12:15 p.m. following the breakfast.

A raffle to win a beautiful lithograph as well as four posters is also part of the event. The drawing will be held on Sunday, March 18 at 2:00 p.m. Winners need not be present at the drawing.

The dates and times of the Israel Art Exhibition and Sale are:

Thursday, March 15       7:00 p.m. –   10:00 p.m.

Friday, March 16           10:00 am –      3:00 p.m.

Saturday, March 17           8:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

Sunday, March 18          10:00 am  –    4:00 p.m.
