
Kids’ Workshop: Create a House for Otto and Fall Hayrides
Friday, Oct. 13 at 4 or 6 p.m.
Children will create a house out of candy for Otto the Ghost. Hicks will provide all of the candy and icing. $15 per child. Call 516-272-4758 to reserve a space. Children can also enjoy fall hayrides down a Halloween-decorated path daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through October 29.

Manhasset Fall Festival
Saturday, Oct. 14, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This outdoor event for the whole family will include games, pony rides, bounce houses, hayrides, face painting, country music, a pumpkin patch, BBQ lunch, beer and wine garden, fresh pies and treats, and more! Open to the public. $25 donation per bracelet; children under two are free. Hosted by the Tower Foundation of Manhasset, all proceeds will be used to support STEM initiatives at the Manhasset Public Schools.

Kickoff of Spooky Fest: A Family Halloween Adventure

The Center for Science Teaching and Learning celebrates Halloween with this seven-day event that includes wooded paths with eerie lighting and special effects, exhibits, and festivities on the preserve that will involve creatures of all kinds that inhabit the woods. $10 for non-spooky attractions only; $15 for all inclusive attractions.
