Great Neck Library lecture: Understanding and treating problematic screen use in children

This presentation will highlight areas pertinent to assessing, understanding and treating problematic, excessive and addictive screen use in children across the lifespan.

Audience members will learn how excessive screen time impacts brain development and how certain populations of youth are more susceptible to the effects of screen time.

Various treatment interventions are discussed that target reducing and controlling screen time and promoting healthier digital use.
