The Great Neck Library is inviting community members to learn about how to prepare and equip their loved ones before a crisis hits, including lessons to address various emergencies.

Participants will learn the proactive steps to create a safe refuge and a healthy environment during times of crisis.

The lecture will discuss dealing with the loss of power, safety, health and security needs, finances, communication, food and water requirements, along with tools and supplies to have on hand to weather different types of emergencies.
