Golden shiners, pan sized trout, sleeping salamanders and a feeding frenzy captured the hearts of visitors at the Cold Spring Harbor Library’s opening of Diane Lundegaard’s retrospective exhibition.

Thirty-nine paintings of aquatic life, zen meditation and early childhood memories displayed the artist’s skill with brush and ink as well as her love for nature. On exhibition until September 11, a portion of the exhibits proceeds will be donated to the Hatchery’s new Turtle Pond exhibition. For further information contact the Hatchery at 516-692-6768.
