The Frick Collection, NYC will be hosting a rare masterpiece through Feb. 4 loaned from Vienna’s Kunsthistorisches Museum: Giorgione’s “Three Philosophers.”

The painting will reunite with the Frick’s own “St. Francis in the Desert” by Giovanni Bellini, two paintings once owned by the Venetian merchant Taddeo Contarini and displayed for many decades in his Venetian palazzo.
