The following Floral Park Memorial High School students recieved awards from the Junior Women’s Club of Bellerose Writing Contest.
Olivia Vesecky won first place. Hammad Izhar and Kira O’Boyle won second place. Ashley Hernandez won third place.
Vesecky’s first-place entry will advance to the state level, where she will be judged along with other first-place winners from New York State.
