The Incorporated Village of Williston Park held its annual Organization meeting on Monday, April 4, 2022. At the meeting Hometown Hero Dad,  Ted Fengarinas of Williston Park presented an American Flag to the Village of Williston Park.

Mr. Fengarinas asked Mayor Paul Ehrbar to accept this American Flag on behalf of his son Staff Sergeant Nicholas Fengarinas. This flag was given in gratitude for the care packages sent to Staff Sergeant Fengarinas and his Unit during Operation Freedom in Afghanistan. Staff Sergeant Fengarinas and his Unit were grateful for the outpouring of thoughtfulness the entire Village of Williston Park displayed.
