The Kiwanis Club of County Seat, Mineola donated school supply filled backpacks to the Faith Mission Food Pantry for distribution

On Thursday, Aug. 17, The Kiwanis Club of County Seat, Mineola donated over 100 backpacks to the Faith Mission Food Bank in Mineola.

Faith Mission distributes food, clothing and other supplies to over 400 people every Saturday.  They already knew the families to receive the backpacks.

County Seat President Mary Capobianco explained that this is our Kiwanis mission statement.  To help our communities and children of the world.

Kiwanis is a global organization of over 250 clubs and over 6,000 people in New York State alone.

Kiwanis sponsors our High School Key Clubs throughout the United States. There are over 12,000 members of Key Club in New York State alone.
