North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jennifer DeSena and Councilman Robert Troiano Jr. recently participated in the annual Westbury Spelling Bee as a judge for grades 4-8.
The Spelling Bee brings together students from Kindergarten through Eighth Grade in the spirit of a love for literacy, academic excellence, and some healthy competition.
DeSena and Troiano were joined by other local elected officials including Westbury Village Mayor Peter Cavallarro, and many other important community figures, such as Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder.
