North Hempstead Council Member Peter Zuckerman honored the newest Eagle Scouts from Troop 200 of Williston Park during a ceremony at Mineola High School on July 29.
Town officials presented proclamations to Steven Mushorn, Alan Nanu, Christopher Marotta, John Villani, Luke Eberlain, Ian Kelly, Thomas Daly, Aidan Levin, and Jason Mushorn in recognition of this special occasion.
An Eagle Scout is the highest award a Scout can receive, with each Eagle Scout earning a minimum of 21 merit badges, demonstrating leadership skills and completing an Eagle Scout Service Project benefiting the local community.
