The summer 2024 Reading Program theme is Adventure Begins at Your Library. Our program will run from June 29-August 10. The schedule is listed in this column and our Facebook page.

The Williston Park Fire Department will hold a blood drive on Wednesday, July 24, from 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the firehouse, 454 Willis Ave. Appointments are strongly encouraged. Please call 800-933-BLOOD.

Homeowner Exemption Liaison Program—Wednesday—July 11—1-3 pm in the Assembly Room of Village Hall. Learn about various exemptions available to you; receive assistance with completing applications. For a list of forms, go to https://nassaucountyny.gov/3575/exemption-forms
Free Shredding Service will be available on Saturday, August 10, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Schechter School parking lot. No registration is necessary.

Empire Safety Driving Course—Thursday—August 29—10 am-4 pm in the Assembly Room of Village Hall for drivers of all ages. $33 p/person due at registration. Limited to 35 participants. Check only payable to Diana Palumbo-Wilson. The payment deadline is August 22.
Book Discussion—Wednesday—September 18–7 pm in the Assembly Room of Village Hall and via Zoom. Copies of Demon Copperhead will be available at the Circulation Desk.
