North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jennifer DeSena continued her Earth Day efforts at the “Yes We Can” Community Center’s Earth Day Clean Up on April 22.
She joined local students and residents in preparing the community garden at the Center for spring and summer planting. Town officials also took time out to express their appreciation to the MTO Shahmaghsoudi organization, which donated a collection of young trees that were also planted in the center’s garden.
