The Manhasset Women’s Coalition Against Breast Cancer (MWCABC) is now forming its team of walkers, Team Manhasset for the LI2DAY WALK. The walk is a one-day only half marathon, 13.1 miles along scenic Smith Point beach and through the local neighborhood on Saturday, June 8.

MWCABC’s Outreach Program is one of the many beneficiaries of the LI2DAY Walk. LI2Day gives Outreach a grant every year for its participation. Outreach greatly depends on the funds raised to assist the women in our area who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and other cancers. In 2018, 124 women with cancer have received assistance and support from the coalition. While some continue to be helped from other years, 40 of the women were new to the program in 2018.

Be a part of this amazing one-day journey that will help so many fighting this disease. Sign up for “Team Manhasset” at www.li2daywalk.org. Please remember to register under Team Manhasset. Join us in a day full of empowerment, inspiration, laughs and some tears. Walking amongst the women battling this disease is an incredible journey. Everyone has a story and a purpose for walking the walk. Watching these women who are fighting for a cure, fighting their breast cancer and crossing the finish line is what it’s all about. The determination and strength these women possess is so inspiring. Let’s fight this disease and walk with us, Team Manhasset. It’s a day you will never forget. Breast cancer survivors who are not participating in the walk are invited to attend the closing ceremony and cross the bridge in the final procession.

The walker commitment is $75 registration fee and a fundraising requirement of $500. Team Manhasset will begin training walks in the community to prepare.

The coalition still needs many volunteers throughout the day. Please walk or consider volunteering for the cause.

  1. Every person, especially every woman, must know that the Breast Cancer Awareness movement does not support breast cancer causes but helps obfuscate them (look for the article “A Mammogram Letter The British Medical Journal Censored” and read its well referenced scholarly afterword on the war on cancer).

Most people would be much smarter and better informed if they had awareness of what this movement or the war on cancer do NOT raise awareness about.

Does anyone reasonable really think it’s a coincidence that double Nobel laureate Linus Pauling called the ‘war on cancer’ a fraud?
