He competed twice at the NCSA Junior National Championships and was honored by USA Swimming for being a nationally ranked age group swimmer (sixth in the 50 free and eighth in the 100 free). In the summer months, Tsai has traveled to his parents’ home country of Taiwan to teach young students English. He will be attending MIT in the fall for computer science.
Ahn is known as a scholar and a true role model for her peers. Throughout her time at Mineola High School, she has pursued courses in her areas of interest, such as Computer Science, Math and Science, and has taken multiple AP classes. Congratulations to both students on this tremendous achievement. The district wishes them the best of luck in their future endeavors.
