North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jennifer DeSena and Council Members Peter Zuckerman and Dennis Walsh joined members from the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi School of Islamic Sufism for an Earth Day and Arbor Day tree planting event at Clark Botanic Garden in Albertson on April 24.
Town officials recognized their commitment to volunteerism, beautifying the community, and helping the environment.
