North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Town Clerk Wayne Wink and Town Council Members Veronica Lurvey, and Peter Zuckerman recently attended the Great Neck Veterans Day Parade on Nov. 11. The parade ended at the Village Green in Great Neck, at which time residents took time to honor those who served this country so bravely.
The Town of North Hempstead is currently running a Veterans Donation Drive to collect toiletries and new clothing that is sent to the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Northport. Residents can drop off items before Friday, Dec. 6 at Town Hall, Clinton G. Martin Park, Tully Park, and Fuschillo Park. For more information, please call 516-869-6311.
