North Hempstead Supervisor Jennifer DeSena and the Town Board recently announced that the hearing dates for the proposed 2024 budget have been set.
- October 17 at 10 a.m.: The Town Board will conduct a work session during this time.
- October 18 at 7 p.m.: The Town Board will hold a public hearing on the tentative budget and there will be an opportunity for public comment.
- November 2 at 7 p.m.: Hearing on the preliminary budget and there will be an opportunity for public comment. A vote on the budget is also scheduled for this meeting.
The meetings will be broadcast live on the Town’s website at their listed times. Residents who are interested in viewing the meetings can visit: northhempsteadny.gov/townboardlive.
