North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Council Member Viviana Russell and Nassau County Legislator Siela Bynoe attended the Fifth Annual Haitian Flag Day at the “Yes We Can” Community Center on May 18.
The festivities were hosted by Haitian Support Haitian, AKA, Inc., Espoir Youth Program Inc., along with Nassau County and the Town of North Hempstead.
Several restaurants provided authentic Haitian food and there were performances by DJARARA, Kontwol LA, DJ Jakido, Star Trouper.
