North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jennifer DeSena recently attended the Mineola Junior Fire Department’s 25th annual pasta dinner, held at Mineola Village Hall Community Center. The annual pasta dinner serves as a great opportunity for the members of the Mineola Junior Fire Department to “break bread” with the local community and gives the community the opportunity to support the future volunteer firefighters of tomorrow. Supervisor DeSena commended the junior members for their dedication and commitment to the department and thanked the older members for being wonderful role models for the JFD, teaching them the meaning of selfless service to their community.
