North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jennifer DeSena recently supported and participated in the Port Washington Community Chest Winter Run 5K, held at North Hempstead Beach Park.
Supervisor DeSena placed first in her age group division and after the 5K race met with and thanked medical professionals from North Shore University Hospital for providing information on caregiver support and volunteer opportunities at the hospital.
Supervisor DeSena also commended Community Chest President Drew Hershkowitz and their board members for all they do to help neighbors in need.
