North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jennifer DeSena recently joined restauranteur Tom Colicchio, Catholic Health President and CEO Patrick O’Shaughnessy, along with other members of Catholic Health to celebrate the grand opening of Root & Sprig.
Root & Sprig was founded by Colicchio and recently opened in St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center, where they aim to deliver bold flavors and friendly service to patients, visitors, and employees while calling attention to the crucial role that food plays in health.
DeSena commended all involved on the successful grand opening and thanked them for their immeasurable contributions to helping the residents of the Town of North Hempstead.
