North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth recently attended at pickleball clinic at the Manhasset/Great Neck Economic Opportunity Council, Inc. in Manhasset on February 19. The clinic was led by the newly appointed United States Association Pickleball Ambassador Perry Eisner.

The Town of North Hempstead now has pickleball courts at Clinton G. Martin Park and has marked two additional courts for pickleball at Michael J. Tully Park and Manorhaven Beach Park. Additionally, the Town is looking into adding courts at Whitney Pond Park and North Hempstead Beach Park in the future.

  1. The number of pickleball courts in North Hempstead is woefully inadequate. Players from Great Neck routinely drive to Bethpage and Huntington where parks have multiple courts. Clinton Martin is for district residents.
