North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth attended the New Hyde Park Little League Opening Day ceremony at Nuzzi Field on April 14.
Bosworth wished the coaches, players and parents the best of luck this season, presented the team with a citation and threw the opening pitch.

The New Hyde Park Little League has been teaching hundreds of children the important values of teamwork, sportsmanship, responsibility and commitment since its inception more than 50 years ago.
