Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth recently attended the Butterfly Ball at the Hempstead House in Sands Point on April 28.
The event was a fundraiser for Sands Point Conservatory and helped to raise funds for new outdoor projects which will include an organic vegetable garden, fruit orchard, playground, and dog run. Sands Point Conservatory is a non-profit organization that benefits the Sands Point Preserve, a 216-acre park, by working on restoration initiatives, educational and arts programs and more.
