Spectrum Designs Foundation and Nicholas Center were part of an Autism employment policy discussion, which included the showing of our documentary film, This Business of Autism, on April 9, at the U.S. Capitol. Over 200 guests, advocates, corporate representatives and elected officials joined together for a poignant conversation about the real need to employment opportunities and support within the workplace. There was much discussion about initiatives that are being enacted across all industries to offer employment to individuals with Autism and incorporate support into the work environs.
