SHAI hosts Mother’s Day luncheon for seniors at synagogue

    The Sephardic Heritage Alliance, Inc. hosted a Mother’s Day luncheon for over 300 seniors last Monday at Great Neck Synagogue.

    The hundreds of attendees were treated to lunch and two musical performances, courtesy of SHAI.

    Several local officials from town and county government also attended, including Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Town Councilwoman Anna Kaplan, Town Councilwoman Lee Seeman, Town Clerk Wayne Wink and County Legislator Ellen Birnbaum.

    SHAI and the Town of North Hempstead co-sponsor the Senior Social Center program at the Great Neck Social Center on Grace Avenue.
