Sewanhaka High School performed at the 55th annual Newsday Marching Band Festival at Mitchel Field Athletic Complex in Uniondale on Oct. 18.
Newsday’s Marching Band Festival features bands from across Nassau and Suffolk counties who showcase their musical and performing talents. In addition to Sewanhaka and the other high schools entertaining friends, family and faculty, this event is a fundraiser for each school and also funds a donation to Newsday Charities. The hard work and dedication of Sewanhaka’s Marching Band, Color Guard, and Rockettes was evident by their impressive performance and the supportive cheers from the stands.
