Sewanhaka High School’s Future Business Leaders of America officers attended the Fall District Meeting at Hofstra University on Oct. 27.
The event afforded students the opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops, including career readiness, social media, impromptu speaking and entrepreneurship. The FBLA members were able to connect with business professionals, who gave them an understanding of expectations in the “real world.” In addition, students were able to gain new skills while networking with students from high schools across Long Island.
