Roslyn Superintendent and BOE President welcome back staff

Roslyn Board of Education President Meryl Waxman Ben-Levy and Superintendent Allison Brown welcomed the entire faculty and staff back to the district for Superintendent Conference Days held on Aug. 30 and 31.

The featured speaker to kick off the new school year was Rohan Murphy from Islip, Long Island, who overcame his physical disability to compete in wrestling, graduate from Penn State, and star in a Nike commercial.

Today, he travels the country as a motivational speaker. He shared his personal journey and talked about overcoming obstacles.
