Several Roslyn students from the classes of elementary orchestra teacher Laura Fratti and Middle School orchestra teacher Jackie Martin were selected to participate in the Long Island String Festival Association’s (LISFA) Virtual Music classes this past February. Aaron Lee and Elana Margulis from Harbor Hill; Thomas Lee, Joshua Oh and Ryan Chen from East Hills; and Emma Wei from Roslyn Middle School participated in various workshops that included pop, jazz and fiddle music. These talented students worked with professional musicians and had a lot of fun learning how to play different genres of music.
