Roslyn High School senior Joshua Fried earned an Award of Merit from the Long Island Arts Alliance Scholar Artist Program.
Honorees demonstrate excellence as artists as well as superior academic achievement and had to submit a portfolio of their work and an essay on how the arts have enriched the life of the student.
