Red Ribbon Week at Roslyn Schools

Red Ribbon Week was held districtwide Oct. 25-29 in the Roslyn Public Schools. This year, the theme for the elementary schools is “Happy and Healthy Looks Like Me!”

Support local journalism by subscribing to your Blank Slate Media community newspaper for just $50 a year.

The middle and high school theme is “Drug Free Looks Like Me.” Students were encouraged to wear red and various other themed clothing during the week-long event, bring healthy snacks to school and sign banners pledging to be drug-free. Red Ribbon Week was founded by a nonprofit to encourage youth to lead drug-free, healthy lives.
