Port Washington school district’s Administrative Annex dedicated to retiring Superintendent of Schools Kathleen Mooney

Kathleen Mooney, superintendent of Port Washington Union Free School District, was honored by the Port Washington Board of Education, district administrators, building principals and staff, with a building dedication at the Administrative Annex.

Following a speech by Board President Karen Sloan, the new plaque honoring Mooney, which hangs in the doorway of the building’s front entrance, was unveiled.

Mooney, a dedicated visionary and problem solver, is retiring after devoting 19 fulfilling years to the students and staff of the Port Washington schools.
