The Sands Point Garden Club recently celebrated Arbor Day by distributing Redbud tree saplings (Cercis canadensis) to Sands Point residents at the Village Hall, in recognition of the Village of Sands Point being designated a Tree City USA.

Garden club members also planted herbs at the Helen Keller Sensory Garden, to provide the clients with useful and flavorful experiences.  A tasting event for HKNC clients will be held in June.
