North Hempstead Councilmember Dalimonte interviewed by PWLF Roots Leadership Program

North Hempstead Town Council Member Mariann Dalimonte recently attended a meeting of the Port Washington Library Foundation’s Roots Leadership Program, an innovative new leadership program for Port Washington sophomores and juniors developed by Foundation President Beth Ain along with board member Michelle Salzman as part of an effort to cultivate and foster civic engagement, communication, networking with a focus on hands-on experiences.

Dalimonte was interviewed by Roots student Juliet Feinblum about the responsibilities of civic leadership, the duties of a North Hempstead Town Council member, what it was like to attend Schreiber High School, and more.

Dalimonte noted to the membership that they should always work diligently and transparently, and that good government service always comes from the heart.
