North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jennifer DeSena recently joined local Kiwanians at the Manhasset-Port Washington Kiwanis Golf Outing at the North Hempstead Country Club.
The Kiwanis Club of Manhasset-Port Washington is the local chapter of Kiwanis International, whose main goal is serving the children of the world, one family and one child at a time.
Kiwanis International has over 600,000 members in over 80 countries, as well as over $100 million raised in the US for our communities.
DeSena gladly attended the golf outing, being an avid golfer herself, and commended the members of the Manhasset-Port Washington Kiwanis for their extremely successful fundraising effort, which will go towards many local charitable endeavors.
