North Hempstead Town Council Member Mariann Dalimonte recently recognized members of the Port Washington Union Free School District on May 3 for their outstanding contributions to the District’s athletic programs.
Nick Schratweiser, the director of Health, Physical Education, and Athletics, was named the Nassau County Council of Administrators’ Emerging Athletic Administrator of the Year for 2021-2022.
Sean Dooley, physical education teacher and coach, was named the New York State AHPERD Nassau Zone Elementary P.E. Teacher of the Year.
Dalimonte presented each of them with citations recognizing their achievements and dedication to their profession and students.
