State Sen. Elaine Phillips recently attended the Nassau County American Legion’s annual legislative breakfast.
“There is no greater debt of honor owed to anyone than that which we owe the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country,” Phillips said. “I truly believe that as elected officials, it is our duty to fight for our veterans with the same ferocity they have fought for us and it was an honor to attend this event.”
