The New Hyde Park North Lions held a food drive at King Kullen Supermarket on Jericho Turnpike in Garden City Park on Saturday, Nov. 11th.
Over 80 cartons and bags of food were collected for local food pantries. The Lions also collected used eyeglasses. Club members said they thank the local shoppers who not only donated food but also donated cash for food gift cards, which were given to the pantries, as well.
