North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jennifer DeSena and Council Members Robert Troiano Jr., Peter Zuckerman, and Veronica Lurvey attended the annual barbecue at Magnolia Gardens in Westbury on Sept. 14.
The North Hempstead Housing Authority hosts the barbeque every year for all the tenants of Magnolia Gardens and Manhasset Valley.
This year’s theme was A Day at the Derby and featured food, music, and activities for residents. Other elected officials in attendance included: state Assemblywoman Gina Sillitti and Joseph Galante representing state Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli.
