New Hyde Park Memorial High School student Anitta Kottai was selected to represent New York State at the 2022 National Youth Science Camp to be held this summer, from June 27-July 20.
Annually, the NYSC invites 102 delegates (two from each state and the District of Columbia) to participate in a three-week forum where they can exchange ideas with leading scientists and other professionals from the academic and corporate worlds.
The New York State Education Department selected Kottai to attend due to her demonstration of academic proficiency, leadership in school and community activities, and a passion and curiosity for STEM fields.
