Several members of the New Hyde Park Lions Club attended Lions Recognition Day at the Guide Dog Foundation in Smithtown, New York on June 8.
The Lions members led by President Susan Herrmann presented a check to the Guide Dog Foundation a check for sponsorship for two dogs, a Vet Dog and a Guide Dog.
This is an ongoing charity endeavor for the Lions who recently had two of their sponsored dogs presented to two needy recipients.
They also have two dogs in training.
