North Hempstead Council Member Peter Zuckerman recently unveiled the renovated playground at Ridder’s Pond Park.
The playground was relocated to a different location in the park, away from traffic, to ensure the safety of the children who use it. New additions include a slide, swings, and an inclusive orbit which is wheelchair accessible. The Ridder’s Pond Park playground also features a pour in place rubber playground safety surfacing.
