Solages congratulates Bishop Christopher T. Cox II on retirement after 28 Years of pastoral service

Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Lawrence) congratulated Bishop Christopher T. Cox II of Elmont’s Family Life Worship Cathedral on 28 years of pastoral service.

During the Monday, June 19 celebration at Floral Terrace,Solages presented Cox with a Nassau County Legislature Citation in recognition of his nearly three decades as a spiritual and community leader.

“During his 28 years of pastoral service, Bishop Cox has bestowed many gifts upon the lives of his congregants through his spiritual leadership and guidance,” Solages said. “On behalf of so many people in the Elmont and Valley Stream communities, I thank him for all he has done and wish him abundant blessings and joy in his retirement after a lifetime of service.”
