New Hyde Park celebrates National Merit Finalists

New Hyde Park Memorial High School is proud to announce that seniors Aashish John and Saumya Sharma have been named National Merit Scholarship finalists.

Each year, an estimated 1.6 million high school students across the nation enter this academic competition by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. John and Sharma received Certificates of Merit and will be considered for National Merit Scholarships to be offered in the spring. Principal Richard Faccio congratulated the students on this achievement.
