National Merit finalists at New Hyde Park Memorial High School

New Hyde Park Memorial High School seniors Daniel Kim, Emma Ouyang and Laurence Lai have advanced to finalist standing in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship program.

Students enter the competition by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Approximately 15,000 students advance to the finalist standing.

As finalists, the students have the opportunity to receive a Merit Scholarship award.
